Rahul Group is one of the leading conglomerates in North Bengal, with over 25 years of experience in the FMCG and industrial sectors. As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our supply chain operations and are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a smart, organized, and experienced professional to join our team as a Production Supervisor. A production supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Key responsibilities include managing and training staff, scheduling production, and monitoring processes to meet goals. They act as a link between production floor workers and management, troubleshooting issues, and implementing policies to optimize workflow.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering (Food Technology)
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and factory operations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills to supervise and guide production staff effectively.
• Ability to plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to ensure targets are met.
• Sound knowledge of production machinery, equipment maintenance, and safety standards.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to handle on-floor challenges efficiently.
• Experience in maintaining production reports, material usage records, and ensuring product quality.
• Must be proactive, disciplined, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Candidates with prior experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector will get priority.
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different departments.

Experience:

We prioritize practical expertise and operational efficiency. Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of proven experience in FMCG production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Key responsibilities include managing and training staff, scheduling production, and monitoring processes to meet goals. They act as a link between production floor workers and management, troubleshooting issues, and implementing policies to optimize workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and schedules.
• Ensure that products are manufactured in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Monitor production processes to maintain consistent quality, efficiency, and waste control.
• Allocate manpower, assign tasks, and provide on-the-job training to production staff.
• Review production records, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions for process improvement.
• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and hygiene protocols across all production areas.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage & assign as per company policy.
