Rahul Group is one of the leading conglomerates in North Bengal, with over 25 years of experience in the FMCG and industrial sectors. As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our supply chain operations and are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Analyst.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a smart, organized, and experienced professional to join our team as a Lab Analyst. A Lab Analyst conducts tests and analyzes samples to ensure products and processes meet quality standards and regulatory compliance across industries, including manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- BSC in Engineering (Food Technology)
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and chemical/microbiological analysis of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
- Hands-on experience in using lab instruments and equipment such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, moisture analyzers, etc.
- Ability to prepare and analyze samples, record data accurately, and maintain lab documentation.
- Good understanding of quality standards, safety protocols, and hygiene practices in laboratory environments.
- Skilled in identifying abnormalities in test results and reporting them to the Quality Control department.
- Must be detail-oriented, disciplined, and capable of working with precision under minimal supervision.
- Candidates with prior experience in food, oil, or FMCG laboratories will be given priority.

Experience:
We prioritize practical expertise and operational efficiency. Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of proven experience in FMCG Lab Analyst, ensuring product tests and analyzing samples to ensure products and processes meet quality standards and regulatory compliance across manufacturing industries.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in product trials and development activities as per instructions from the responsible authorities.
- Prepare and arrange all required ingredients according to product development recipes before trials.
- Accurately collect and record relevant data such as time, temperature, material inputs/outputs, and warehouse movements during product development activities
- Maintain the cleanliness & hygiene of all utensils and work areas during product trials and coordinate with the cleaning staff as required.
- Collect raw materials and packaging samples from the unloading area and semi-finished goods from the production floor in coordination with the QA team.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of food safety systems (HACCP, HALAL, GMP, ISO, or other relevant standards) & maintain laboratory documentation, test reports, and SOPs.
- Maintain detailed records and logs of all collected samples, including their storage conditions and other relevant data, in accordance with company protocols
